Sunday Style - I Am So Needy

Sunday Style - I Am So Needy

Well... this is what I've been styling lately. 😂 The past 2 Sundays church has been cancelled due to snowy weather. So, I thought I'd share what I've really been looking like lately.

That wall behind me used to be a door.  We walled it up and I just finished attaching the dry wall.

The title of today's devotion is, 'I am so needy'.

I need His lovingkindness and tender mercies every single day. I need His compassion and grace. I need The Lord with me every moment of everyday.

I am a pretty strong willed person... just ask my husband. Sometimes, I can be a little too self reliant... relying on my own strength and will.

I want to open my heart fully to my heavenly Father and let him pour into me, to stop relying on myself. I want to trust in Him to provide all that I need.

It can be hard for me to admit my neediness.... I really don't want to admit that... Yet, we have all had people and experiences that have failed us or not provided what we need or want. People aren't meant to give us all that we need. There's a reason for that! They were never intended to...

There is no one on this earth can provide ALL that we need.

The only One, is God Almighty. He provides all that we need, even better... exactly when we need it!

He loves us so much and wants to give us all of His infinite blessings!

Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV)
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Psalms 103:1-4 (NKJV)
Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies

Think about that last sentence... Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies...

We are redeemed royalty! Jesus purchased that for us by dying on the cross! God wants to crown us with His lovingkindness and His tender mercies which are infinite. They will never run out and He will never stop wanting to give over and over and over!

Psalms 62:8 (NLT)
O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

I want to be needy!

Be blessed!
Lori
