DIY Hair Tools Organizer - Part One

You know that I hate that I haven’t had any really GOOD projects to show you lately. I feel like all I've been doing is digging in are garden beds and that is pretty boring stuff. So, I started a small one, basically out of necessity, using this scrap wood I found in the basement.

Never The Same Again!

The last couple of months were indeed a whirlwind. Mike’s work in San Diego was finished and the company he worked for was starting a new job closer to home. He refitted buildings with better fluorescent lights. I found a new job with an escrow/title company which was more local, better than driving downtown. I had never been happier. We were nearing our 4 month anniversary together… A lot had happened in the last four months. And of course knowing me... a lot more was in store! :)

A Car Breakdown Can Be A Good Thing

At this point in my life, I really wasn't interested in what God had in store for me. I will spare you the details, but I pretty much went back to the way things were before I had become a Christian. No, I’m not proud of that. I’m not proud of a LOT of the things I’ve done! Making great choices was not one of my strong suits. Of course, looking back today, I can see that God hadn't given up on me, even though, I had given up on Him.

So, I’m working in downtown Los Angeles. In one of those tall buildings, as a receptionist for an accounting firm.
