Did you know that God promises to be with you ALL the time?
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT)
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will
personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor
abandon you.”
That means God can go ahead of me, opening up a way, without ever leaving my side. He is present everywhere all at once! This is so encouraging!
This promise isn't just for a little bit, it's forever... and ever and ever... You are never alone no matter what your circumstances.
Now, we might "feel" like we are alone, and start to get discouraged or fearful, but that is when we need to remember His promises and read The Word of God! Feelings don't always represent truth. We need to encourage ourselves in The Lord.
David in the Bible, was about to lose his life, and he was able to find strength in The Lord. So, can we!
1 Samuel 30:6 (NIV)
David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
God loves us perfectly. He wants the very best for us.
1 John 4:18 (NKJV)
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
His perfect love renews our hope. Amen!
