Sunday Drive - God Recycles

God Recycles

Yes, God recycles. God wastes nothing. When we walk close to God he uses all that we give Him. He uses the pain and heartache we go through. He even finds a way to use the sins and mistakes we make. He is able to recycle them into something good by His amazing grace.

Romans 8:28 (NLT)
28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

He can take something so awful into something awesome! That's the best kind of recycling.

Trusting Him with every detail of our lives is essential. Imagine our lives as a beautiful orchestrated symphony. Each note and instrument is playing with preciseness to create a magnificent piece of music. Trust is the key. He will set your feet on solid ground. The question lies with whether you will stay on that ground or wander off, letting go of His hand.

Psalms 40:2 (NLT)
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.

Even when we were living in darkness, God was preparing us for His symphony. Recycling our sins to bring us into His glorious Light. He lifted us up out of darkness. Opened our blinded eyes to see our need for Him. Then we were transformed by His grace and mercy.

1 Peter 2:9 (NLT)
9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

He sacrificed everything for us. Because of His sacrifice, we can trust what He's doing. Working His love and peace and joy intricately through the highs and lows of our lives.

Jeremiah 17:7 (NLT)
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.

Trust Him. He can turn everything around. He can recycle anything!

Blessings,
Lori
