Speak Out Your Trust

Psalms 62:8 (NLT)
8 O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

It is so important to pour your heart out to Jesus. He wants us to depend and rely on Him. He knows all things. He knows when your hurting or joyful. He knows when you're stressed or resting in Him.

We have the choice to use those stressful times as reminders to seek Him. We can speak out our troubles to Him. Let Him handle the problems.

1 Chronicles 16:11 (NLT)
11 Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.

The problems might in our lives may not disappear, but we can have confidence that God is with us, taking care of us. He is a good God with a good plan. Speak out your trust to Him.

1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)
7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

The Word of God is powerful. When we speak it out, we are speaking truth! It will give you confidence, comfort and peace. It will remind you that you are loved and not alone. It will give you strength to face the next problem. It will remind you to praise The Lord and give thanks to Him.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Proverbs 18:21 (NIV)
21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Our minds are constantly filled with thoughts... when we speak out our trust in God, it draws us near to Him. It focuses our thoughts and reminds us that He is God Almighty, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Creator of the world. Nothing can stand against Him.

Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)
12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Speak out your trust in Him.

He is with us. He is our refuge and our fortress!
