It's so easy in this life to become so bogged down with 'all the things we do' that we forget that Christ is with us at all times. We know it, but we lose sight of it. The average person is busy, busy, busy.
When was the last time you, stopped and took delight in His Presence?
Psalm 16:11(NLT)
You will show me the way of life,
granting me the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever.
Hubby and I were chatting the other day about being self sufficient. How we 'think' we can do this task or that without any help. It's a trap! We need help in all the little things. Again, how aware are we of His Presence?
Lord, help me! Imprint your Presence in my mind, so that I sense You even in the most menial task of the day.
Psalm 138:3(NLT)
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength.
This is an ongoing process. It's definitely something that I need to stay aware of. Thankfully, The Lord understands that we are only human and will fail over and over again. He has such great patience with us.
Psalm 103:13-14(NLT)
13 The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
14 For he knows how weak we are;
he remembers we are only dust.
I have found that the more aware I am of His Presence throughout the day, the brighter my day is. Troubles don't seem to stay in the forefront of my mind. He does!
