2018 Recap and Plans for 2019!

Another year is in the books! Whew! Is it just me or are the years flying by!? This last year was chock full of projects and changes!

2018 Recap

I think change is good, sometimes it forces us to grow in areas we normally wouldn't.  God has walked with me through this year and taught me many lessons, which makes me so excited for 2019.  Excited to find out all God has in store for me.... it could be fun, challenging, or tough, but I know that no matter what, He will take me by the hand and lead me through it!

One exciting thing... my son is getting married this summer! ❤️❤️❤️  I. can. not. WAIT! 😍😍

I also have some fun projects in the works for this next year. 😊  But first, let's take a trip down memory lane and see all that we accomplished this year.

Throughout this recap, you can either click on the link or the photo and it will take you to that post.  👍

The major project that took up a good half of the year, was our Master Bedroom Makeover.  That was a project!!  We still love every little thing we did in there!  It's so peaceful... sooo many projects in that makeover.

If I had to pick my favorite project out of that makeover, it would be the sign over our bed.  I still can't believe I made that out of a cheap crappy hollow core door... 😍

During that makeover, our microwave went out and we had to come up with a solution... which prompted this project.

This year, I even learned how to replace a kitchen sink faucet! Oh, yes I did!

I revamped my Homemade Laundry Detergent.  I've been using this for YEARS!!! Which I LOVE!

One of the biggest changes that affected me the most, was the selling of our rental properties.  We actually sold all of them! It's been fun filling my days with this new freedom!

Of course, I dived right into another project! This was something I never finished years ago and was ready for an update!

I kinda left y'all hanging on this one... It's finished and I'll be sharing all the details first thing! 😊

The Christmas crazies hit and I kinda got sidetracked!! 🎄 Then... all the difficulties we had with our Christmas tree lights and stuff which prompted another project...

So here we are today! Whew!! I've been thinking and planning for this new year!

Hoping to accomplish a lot this year, Lord willing!!

Organizing 'All The Things'  will be high on the list!  If you've been around here for awhile, you'll know that has been my life long struggle, but we really made some strides last year and I'm determined to get it all under control this year!

A couple of spaces need a makeover... pantry, office, laundry room. We'll see...  A big focus for hubby and I will be the outside.  Repainting the shutters and porch. Power washing everything! We are also in the thinking process of building a roof of some sort over our patio area.

And of course we have a wedding in July! ❤️

Our year is going to fill up quick, and I'm truly trying to be realistic, so we'll see... ☺️

Blessings,
