A Little Time at the Beach ~ Vacation

About a week or so ago, we were relaxing at Bethany Beach, DE.
It's always nice to have some downtime and chill out for a bit.
My hubby delivers natural food down in that area, and he couldn't get anytime off on short notice so we booked a week at the hotel he stays at twice a week.
The hotel is really nice and the staff there were so sweet.  It was only about 2 blocks from the beach. Plus they have this great pool!
We went out to a restaurant nearby that had outdoor dining by the bay.
It was really nice outside.

My daughter hates it when I happen to snap while we are eating... :)  Her college roomie joined us for the week and her boyfriend for a couple of days.

Of course, she had to get me back, when I asked her to snap a few.... Stinker...
After dinner we took a stroll out on a mini pier where they tied up boats.
What a beautiful sunset.

We rode our bikes throughout the week to go to dinner and shopping or coffee and for ice cream.  That was a mess to eat.
But oh so yummy!

I thought this bike was so cool! Doesn't it look like fun?

We took some pics on the boardwalk.
Roomies :)

Sweethearts :)
Love this girl!
And if you can't tell, I'm loving my new iphone app.  It's so much fun!
Rhonna Designs is the name of it.

Before you knew it the week was over.
It started storming, so we packed up and went home.
I guess we weren't the only ones with that brilliant idea...
It was raining so hard at one point we decided to stop and let the storm pass.  A normal 4 hour trip turned into 7 1/2 hours... Ugh!  Tons of traffic and rain, oh well.  We got home safe and sound.
Now I can't wait til September.  Hubby and I will be heading to Myrtle Beach.
Hope you all are enjoying your summer!

By the way, a few things will be happening
around here at the Stonybrook House... stay tuned.
Blessings,
