Sunday Drive - The Joy Of Life

Sunday Drive - The Joy Of Life

Yesterday, my grandson was born. 💙 It was a struggle to get here, but he made it! There is something about the birth of a baby that brings unexplainable joy! My heart is just bursting!

I sometimes try to understand the incredible and complex process of life being created and how it develops. It is so fascinating! And to think that God is completely aware of the intricacies of each and every person. Each life has a plan and a purpose.

Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT)
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart

Wow! He knew us before we were even born! He knows everyone of us. He knows my grandson, who is less than 48 hours old.

Psalm 139:13(NLT)
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

This is just incredible to me! He knows how many hairs are on his little head. He knows all the things about him.

Luke 12:7(NLT)
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Think about that verse...We have no need of fear. The Lord knows us. We are the apple of His eye. We are worth so much to Him.

My little grandson is at the beginning of his life journey. The Lord knows all the joys he will experience. All the joys I'm going to experience because of him. Just the thought of this fills me with joy!

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We all know life is full of ups and downs. Some we have control of, but there are so many we don't. We have to keep pushing through, there is joy right around the corner. Sometimes the joy is even sweeter when you've had to struggle to get there.

He knows ALL the plans for you. His plans are to prosper you, to give you hope!

There is so much joy in this life! Find something to be joyful about today, and thank your heavenly Father for it.

Blessings,
Lori
