Sunday Drive - The Impossible Is Possible

Sunday Drive - The Impossible Is Possible

The impossible usually doesn't seem possible... but it is.

Matthew 19:26 (NIV)
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

We are always going to have some sort of difficulties in this life. There will be times that the answer seems hopelessly lost.

This where the enemy takes advantage of our circumstances and begins to bombard us with lies. Satan wants to destroy every part of you.

1 Peter 5:8-9(NLT)
8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith.

Remember, Jesus said that with God ALL things are possible. Sure, we don't know the plan God has for us, and He allows certain difficulties in our lives that we can't understand.

That's where we have to stand in faith.

James 1:2-3(NLT)
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

It sounds strange to have joy in the midst of your struggle. Joy is deep in your soul, something no one can take from you. Happiness is based on your circumstances. You can have joy because you know who holds the future, you know who has gotten you through other trials in your life, you know who saved your soul.

There have been circumstances in my life that I thought were impossible. But God made them possible.

The most recent one was the relationship with my sister. We were estranged for 10 years. I never thought our relationship would ever be reconciled. But God knew! This last August, 2021, God made a way. We have been rebuilding our relationship ever since. It's been so wonderful.

Now, if God had never made a way for that restoration, I would still worship Him. I would still choose joy. I would still believe He can do the impossible, because He's never failed me and never will.

His plans for my life are always good. No matter what. I might not understand, but that's okay. That's where faith kicks in.

Jeremiah 29:11(NLT)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Hebrews 11:1(NLT)
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

Keep trusting, keep believing all things are possible!

Blessings,
Lori
