Prepping Meals For Surgery Recovery

I have to admit that lately... all you've been seeing here on the blog is the weekly link party I am a part of. 😏  But there is a really really good reason!!

If you've been following me lately, you'll know that I'm having shoulder surgery next week. Ugh! So, that messy kitchen is where I've been. Cooking Cooking Cooking!!!

I've been filling up my freezer with soups, chili, muffins and more! I really don't know how long I'll be out of commission. It could be 1-6 weeks, depending on if they have to repair any tendons.  I have a bone spur and calcium deposits that they will be taking care of.  I'm really tired of living with the pain. Praying all goes well and I'll only be in a sling for 1 week! 😁

Here are some of the things I've been making. Not all of the recipes are on the blog. At least not yet.... Hopefully soon! Maybe while I'm recovering!

I did lots of chopping veggies for soups. I made Split Pea Soup, Chicken Noodle, Buffalo Chicken, Black Bean Sausage, Broccoli, Taco, Chicken Chili, Tomato Basil. Whew!!!

Okay... so there was only ONE recipe I have on the blog. There will be more coming... I promise!! Guess I need to get busy. 😊

I'll give an update on how the surgery went.
