Pool Table Room {A Work In Progress}

Working on the "pool room" has been an adventure.
We kinda had to move a couple of rooms around to make it work.
But we are ready! At least for delivery of this...
Isn't she a beauty? I am LOVIN the claw feet.  Of couse it won't be on wheels...

So, on Saturday, Hubby and I got to work moving furniture and stuff around.
First, we swept up and moved junk around in the basement.  And, yes, it's still mostly a mess. And, no, I still haven't cleaned up my craft/junk area. In fact, the 8ft. table is filled AGAIN with stuff. Ugh.... one of these days.
Anyway, we moved our "workout area" to the basement.
It looks like this for now.
We have a tv down there to the right of the picture.  One day we would like to frame out this area and put down some laminate flooring.
Nothing fancy just functional.
This room used to be our "workout room". It was pretty tight for both of us.
Arwen, our cat is quite comfortable in here.
Of course, I purposefully, never took a pic of this room before.
It was really bad...  enough said... :)
It is in NO way finished, but I'm sure the furnishings look familiar from this picture in "A Crazy Idea for a Formal Living Room"

The rug went downstairs and the rest went into the new Den/Library.
The reason for the library part....
Books, books, cd's and photos....
Basically, I just stuff things on these shelves, when I don't know where else to put it, or I'm just plain too lazy to cart it downstairs....
But eventually I will get to these too!

So.... Finally the pool room looks like this!
Empty!
Can you imagine beautiful board and batten along the walls?  I've been wanting to do that treatment in my house since we moved here.
I can't wait to get started!
Here are a few inspirational pics I found on Pinterest.

Saturday night, after all that moving we did, I dragged hubby to Lowes to pick out a rug, maybe he dragged me. We were both so tired.
We just wanted to be done.  Thank goodness, I had already picked a few and so he helped narrow it down. We ended up with this...<3
I'm just giving you a sneak peek. We both loved the blues and greens in it.
This is how we pick paint colors, we just throw the all of paint chips on the ground and work on a process of elimination. Can you see which one we picked? I have to be honest, it's a bit darker than I was thinking, but we both are just going to go for it.  It's just paint. I plan on starting that this week!
Its really starting to come together!
Here are a few pics I took while out shopping.
These clocks are soooo cool!
Look at this red one!
I also found a few mirrors.  Not sure if they will work in there, but who knows...
There's a lot to do, but I'm so excited!
Plus, I'm working on a few other things.  I'm getting back into the groove.  Vacation was so awesome and it's taken me awhile to get back into the swing of things! I gotta go, I want to start getting out my fall decor.
I love fall. Don't you?
I love the leaves changing and the smell of pumpkin candles.
What's your favorite part?
